Global Terrestrial Ground-based Network Observation
The five institutions in our project (NIPR, Tohoku University, Nagoya University, Kyoto University, and Kyushu University) have global ground-based observation networks from the equator to both polar regions of the earth. The observation region covers from the ground to the heliosphere in space. The goal of our project is to organically link the global observation networks and accelerate the use of data stored by the above observation networks. The science goal of our project is to clarify the physical processes that control long-term variations in the upper atmosphere.
